In her spare time, Addie spends time with her boyfriend, enjoys being outdoors, likes to read, and of course, spends a lot of time playing with her animals (Whiskey, her bunny & Chance, her Cavalier mix)! When asked what she is looking forward to most about her position here at ESAH, Addie said “working with the amazing and friendly staff, patients, and clients!”

Rachael is a recent graduate from Harrison College’s Veterinary Technician program and joined our team in September 2013. Currently Rachael lives with her mother, twin brother, Justin, and younger brother, Kyle. Rounding out their family are their “fur babies”: 3 miniature dachshunds (Taz, Duchess, and Gidget) and 3 cats! Rachael’s spare time includes spending a lot of time with her dogs (Gidget is a blind pup that Rachael recently rescued and is working on training and integrating her into the family), cooking, shopping, and studying! When she has free time, Carley spends it with her husband, their newborn daughter, and their animals. Welcome to the East Side Family, Carley!
Shelby, Veterinary Assistant
Shelby joined East Side as a veterinary assistant in April of 2016. She is currently enrolled in the Harrison College Veterinary Technology program and loves it! Growing up, Shelby has worked on a farm which really led to her wanting to work with animals as a career. Some of her passions include soccer, reading, and spending time with her fiancé and animals (of course)! Shelby says about working at East Side, “I like that everyone really cares about you and how close the staff are!”
Carol, Client Services Representative

Carol is also very close to her two daughters and her grandchildren. Carol’s pet family includes a Rottweiler named Kaethe and a Dachshund named Sophie. Along with spending quality time with her family and pets, Carol enjoys reading, cross-stitching, walking, singing in her church choir, and collecting stamps and Precious Moments.
Jordan, Client Service Representative
Jordan joined the East Side team in late 2012. She has always had a love for animals and a specific passion for exotic pets so she fits into our culture perfectly! Jordan credits her mom, Alissa, with teaching her how to love animals – Jordan has 2 dogs at home, Jynx and Dozer, and shares many pets with her family, as well. Jordan's spare time is spent with family, friends, and her number one man, Dozer (her rescued pitbull). Working at ESAH has given Jordan a chance to learn more about animals, create friendships with clients and co-workers, and give Dr. T a hard time!
Brooke, Client Service Representative
Brooke, new to the ESAH team in 2015, has proven herself to be a fast learner and a dedicated team member. Like all of us, Brooke spends a lot of time here but when she has time to spare, she spends it with her German shepherd, Izzy, reading, riding, and being outdoors as much as possible. At East Side, Brooke likes the “family” type environment and working closely with her co-workers and our clients.
Elizabeth “Beth,” Housekeeper/Animal Caretaker
Beth has worked at East Side Animal Hospital since 1994 and is an integral part of our organization. She has three brothers, one dog, and four cats. In her spare time, Beth enjoys reading, running, walking her dog, and weaving. Beth’s favorite thing about working at East Side Animal Hospital is working with the animals, which she does very well!
Allison, Animal Caretaker
Allison is currently a student at Southern Indiana Career and Technical Center (SICTC) in the Animal Sciences/Pre-Veterinary class, volunteers for local pet rescues (in shelter and at adoption events), and personally fosters dogs, as well. One of Allison’s passions is training dogs and helping owners resolve their pet’s behavioral issues. Additionally, Allison loves art and paints, sculpts, and takes photographs in her free time. At ESAH, Allison "likes spending time with our patients and their owners and has enjoyed getting to know the knowledgeable and hard-working staff."
Theresa, Animal Caretaker
Theresa has always had a passion for animals and has centered her life around helping animals and learning as much about them as possible. She has been a stable manager at Triple H Stables for over eight years now, has taken classes to prepare for a career in the animal field, and has recently been accepted into Harrison College’s Veterinary Technician program! In addition, Theresa and her six siblings have owned cats, dogs, horses, and a unique variety of farm animals. In her limited spare time, Theresa loves horseback riding (including trial and 4-H shows), writing poetic prose, training horses and dogs, and doing yardwork. At East Side, Theresa most looks forward to having the opportunity to better the lives of animals and having one-on-one time with animals and clients!
Allie, Animal Caretaker
Allie has always had many animals (all kinds!) from the time she was very young. She decided to find a job working with animals to see if it would lead to her future dream career. Allie started working with us as an Animal Caretaker in February of 2016. When not at school or working here, Allie reads, enjoys exercising and playing soccer, babysitting and pet sitting. What does she like most about working at East Side? “Working with and taking care of animals and making new friends with her co-workers!”
“The doctors and staff at East Side Animal Hospital are outstanding. They are courteous, caring, and thorough! I board my dog frequently there, and she likes it almost as much as her home. I know I can trust the staff to take good care of her.
Thanks to everyone at East Side Animal Hospital for the great work you do!”
