Haley, Registered Veterinary Technician
Haley came to us as an extern in order to finish her degree in the Veterinary Technology program at Harrison College in Indianapolis. Our ESAH staff and doctors were so impressed with Haley's skills, determination, and wonderful personality that we have asked her to become a full-time part of the East Side team at completion of her externship. In December 2012, Haley passed her VTNE and became an official Registered Veterinary Technician! Haley recently moved to Evansville with her longtime boyfriend, Nick and their dog, Goliath. Once they got settled here, Nick and Haley also adopted a puppy, named Sadie. Haley enjoys baking cupcakes, cookies, and cakes, spending time with family and friends, playing volleyball, and enjoying musical theater. When asked what she likes most about working at ESAH, Haley responded, “working with a talented staff that is willing to help me improve my skills and further my education!”
Rachael, Veterinary Technician
Since she was a young girl, Rachael has had a passion for animals and knew this was the field she wanted to work in one day. She is finally making her dreams come true! Rachael is a recent graduate from Harrison College’s Veterinary Technician program and joined our team in September 2013. Currently Rachael lives with her mother, twin brother, Justin, and younger brother, Kyle. Rounding out their family are their “fur babies”: 3 miniature dachshunds (Taz, Duchess, and Gidget) and 3 cats! Rachael’s spare time includes spending a lot of time with her dogs (Gidget is a blind pup that Rachael recently rescued and is working on training and integrating her into the family), cooking, shopping, and studying! She currently has four pets of her own: 2 GSD’s (Rambo and Trooper), a Chihuahua (Pixie), and a cat named Gibbs. In her free time, Ashley loves listening to music and enjoying a good book! Her co-workers have named her “The Wanderer” because she is always on the go!

Along with spending quality time with her family and pets, Carol enjoys reading, cross-stitching, walking, singing in her church choir, and collecting stamps and Precious Moments.
Jordan, Client Service Representative
Jordan joined the East Side team in late 2012. She has always had a love for animals and a specific passion for exotic pets so she fits into our culture perfectly! Jordan credits her mom, Alissa, with teaching her how to love animals – Jordan has 2 dogs at home, Jynx and Dozer, and shares many pets with her family, as well. Jordan's spare time is spent with family, friends, and her number one man, Dozer (her rescued pitbull). Working at ESAH has given Jordan a chance to learn more about animals, create friendships with clients and co-workers, and give Dr. T a hard time!

Danelle "Dani", Client Service Representative
Passionate about animals, (she was always bringing home "strays" as a child and spent free time volunteering at an animal shelter), Dani realized at a young age that her calling is in animal care. Her dream to work with animals, as a career, finally came true in April of 2014 when she joined the team at East Side Animal Hospital. At home, Danelle also has a talent for music - she plays the piano and guitar, and also sings! Danelle and her mom also enjoy extreme couponing for fun and she, of course, loves spending time with her maltese, "Frosty" and her lizards! Danelle's favorite aspect of working at East Side is getting to spend time with animals every day - it makes for an exciting work day!

Megan is just getting started with her schooling to become a veterinary technician at Harrison College here is Evansville. Megan stays busy with a variety of activities: singing, working on crafts, being outdoors with family and friends, and of course spending time with her kitty, Mitsy (who got her name because she has 4 white “mittens” on her paws!). Megan’s goal here is to become more experienced in working with animals to further her future and passion! Next time you stop by, say "Hi" to Megan!
Renee, Animal Caretaker
Renee is another one of our wonderful employees currently in school to further her education in animal care and science. She is enrolled at Harrison College to become a registered veterinary technician in the near future and is loving the experience. Renee is married to Tim and together they have a "zoo" at home! They spend a lot of their free time with their animals and Renee likes to photograph her dogs at play. Here at ESAH, Renee enjoys that fact that she is able to receive hands on experience in the field that she loves. She’s excited to learn the "ins and outs" of the veterinary industry!
Cierra, Animal Caretaker
Cierra, a student at Harrison College, studying to become a Registered Vet Tech, came to work at East Side Animal Hospital in March 2014 to gain knowledge about her future field. When she’s not spending her downtime studying, Cierra spends time with her family (mom, dad, younger brother, and sister) and playing with her pets. Cierra is the proud puppy mommy to Murray (a Yorkie) and Allie (a Chihuahua) and would love to adopt more in the future. Cierra likes that she gets to be involved with animal care and learning about her future field while working here at East Side!

“The doctors and staff at East Side Animal Hospital are outstanding. They are courteous, caring, and thorough! I board my dog frequently there, and she likes it almost as much as her home. I know I can trust the staff to take good care of her.
Thanks to everyone at East Side Animal Hospital for the great work you do!”
