Dr Scott L. Thompson
Dr. Thompson graduated from Purdue University in 1979 where he earned his BS and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees. After graduation, he practiced small animal medicine in Carmel, IN from 1979 – 1983. On April 1, 1983 he took over the practice at East Side Animal Hospital from its previous owner (Dr. Edward Weidenbenner). With the help of his wife Beth, his son Brett, his daughter Brianna, and a dedicated staff, he has worked to develop ESAH into a caring, high quality facility with the mission of helping people…helping pets…

Dr. Sara Bennett
Dr. Sara Bennett graduated from Purdue University in 2006 where she earned her BS and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees. After graduation, she and her husband moved to Evansville where she began general practice in small animal medicine. She has a strong interest in animal behavior and internal medicine. She keeps busy riding horses in the discipline of dressage and has an active interest in pet facilitated therapy.

Staff:

We have an outstanding and well-trained staff. We strongly believe in continuing education therefore we provide monthly staff meetings as well as continuing education stipends for all the staff members to help them keep current and further their knowledge.
