Veterinary Services Spotlight

Patients often travel far and wide to utilize our PennHIP certification, a screening method used mostly by pet breeders to assess and predict canine hip dysplasia, as we are the only animal hospital in the Evansville, Indiana area certified in PennHIP.

Also unique to our animal clinic is a pet care service called Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation "Chiropractic" (VOM). VOM is a simple healing technique that reconnects communication in the nervous system to treat an array of conditions from releasing back pain and correcting behavioral problems to caring for lameness, arthritis, and much more.

In addition, your pets are privy to the benefits of a laser at East Side Animal Hospital. We offer animal laser therapy to help with the healing of wounds or arthritic dogs, for instance, as well as a less invasive companion animal surgical laser option resulting in less bleeding, less healing time, less pain, and quicker recovery.

“Helping People, Helping Pets” Is What We Do Best: Hear it From Hope...

“I have been a client since 1983. Both of my current kitties came from East Side Animal Hospital’s orphanage. Dr. Thompson has gotten me through kitty illnesses, emergencies, crises, mysteries, and problems. I would never take my pets any place else.”
— Hope Bock
